Connectivity Table Waterloo Region

Connectivity KW4 was launched on October 2, 2014, by Carizon Family and Community Services (now Camino Well-Being) in partnership with Waterloo Region Police Services and serves Kitchener, Waterloo, Wilmot, Woolwich, and Wellesley. Previously, the needs of the community were met through two different Connectivity tables, however as of January 2024 Cambridge North Dumfries Connectivity and Connectivity KW4 will officially unify to form a new table: Connectivity WR.

Connectivity is a unique approach with discussion focused on providing immediate, coordinated, and integrated responses, through mobilization of resources to address situations facing individuals, families, or communities with acutely elevated risk factors. Connectivity brings health and social service agencies including the Sunbeam Developmental Resource Centre to a weekly meeting, to collaboratively and proactively address situations of acutely elevated risk and support individuals to access the services they need. In doing so, agencies and systems are immediately responsive and begin to make systematic improvements to improve service delivery, with the long-term vision of reducing emergency room admissions, child protection cases, prosecutions, violent crime, and youth victimization.
